Dear Sir, dear Madame, I have been using the DeepL Pro web translator for a few months now, and it worked without any problems for the first few weeks! But from one day to the next it crashed regularly and often. and it was impossible to work with it. The DeepL support team tried very hard, but they couldn't find any errors! However, they did point out that another application might be interfering. That's when I thought about all the Firefox updates. Could it be that one of the updates loaded something that DeepL doesn't like? It's just a guess, but no one could give me

other explanation!

I click the Share Data button, and instead I get a complaint every time, that "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps." I ain't falling for that no more, every time I click that manual steps thing, it blanks out everything I already typed, and when I come back I have to start over!

Anyway, how do I get that complaint to go away, and the details to appear in the Troubleshoot Information box like they ought to?

Firefox Version 129.0.1 64 bit Windows 11. When I am in a New Tab, and I do a search (Google is my search engine) the results do not display. I type in search words, I hit Enter, and the screen does a very quick blip, and then nothing. This is very frustrating. I have wasted too much time trying to figure it out. It does not do it all the time, but most of the time. This started with the latest Firefox update. Is this a Settings issue?

I would like to complete overhaul my pc again and for this matter Im quite dependant on my firefox saves of cookies / bookmarks etc.

the only issue is, the password i created using my account years ago is something i have absolutely no idea of anymore, ive been on the same computer for ages so luckily i never needed it again to sign into firefox, so you can probably see my issue here.

Is there any way that i can provide enough evidence that this is my account that i can finally reset this password and be able to reset my pc?

How do I get AOL Webmail working for default mailto again?

I used to have the AOL mail site as Firefox's default mail. Somehow when I opened up Thunderbird recently for something, it up and decided that it had to be my default for mail links in Firefox, too, I guess? Maybe something changed with a system update a while back, I'm not sure. In case Thunderbird really did decide to take over, and will do it again next time I open it, what's the setting in that to get it to stop doing that? What did I put wrong in there?

At any rate, I haven't liked the change.

I don't seem to be able to pick AOL from the Applications options in Firefox's settings, and when I pick to "use other", I get a dialog that'll only allow me to pick an application file, and won't allow putting in the URL for AOL Mail. I did not use a helper app before, and the extension I tried from the Firefox Add-ons site doesn't work right. It opens the AOL page, but doesn't even open a new mail compose page, let alone fill the email address I clicked on as it ought to.

I'm guessing this will take editing something in about:config, but I don't know what to put in there. What's the fix?

I updated Firefox the other day and now I have to use the sidebar to get to my bookmarks. I want my bookmarks back at the top of the page where they're easy to see and get to. Yes, "Always show" is checked for the bookmarks toolbar under View.

Everything was fine, then one recent day - BAM - my logins and passwords are gone.

The profile is otherwise fine, everything is as expected. Logins.json (243K) is fine, all the logins (last id is 459) are there, they just don't show up in about:logins (except for new ones I added since the disappearance).

When opening about:logins, browser console reports:

My firefox frequently, several times a week, locks it configuration information and that of the add ins. One of the symptoms of this is a number of sites will not let me enter passwords. I also use "Update Scanner" add-in and when the sites that I am monitoring do not show up in the sidebar, I know that it has happened again.

The only way that I have found to fix it, other than a clean install after deleting all vestiges of of it on the computer and registry etc. Is to Enter Troubleshoot Mode and then use the options to Refresh, and Refresh again. I then have to configure everything else from the settings page and the configure toolbar.

I have started up in troubleshoot mode, removed all addins, done clean installs, Yet I still have the problem. I am sure that the problem something with my computer setup. As I have other machines that do not have this problem.

I would like to get some guidance of ways to figure this out.

Version 128.0.3 (64-bit) What’s new Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint

When I visit a page which contains a Google Doc spreadsheet or try to open a Google Spreadsheet the page often fails to render properly and what I see is my desktop background instead of the Google doc element or Google doc sheet. Please see attached. This has been happening for ages and I resorted back to Chrome for such pages but now I'd like to see if it can be resolved.

A few days ago, on Firefox (been using for many years) middle clicking on a You Tube thumb nail video results in an "Video unavailable This content isn’t available" message. Must left click and and can only have one tab open at a time. Even when my wife emails me a link to see something on You Tube it will not open that video. This is very annoying involving copy and pasting and back tracking.

Searching for a solution, I can deselect video previews in You Tube settings (which I don't need anyway), however this only works in Chrome not in Firefox which is my preferred browser.

Maybe this can be corrected in either a Firefox or You Tube update.

I run win10 pro 64 bit. The latest version of Firefox 129.01 has caused my Accuweather Premium program to stop working. When I go to log in the program doesn't respond. I have deleted my cache,data and cookies. I've removed the Accuweather URL. I've uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox and restarted my computer. All my other web apps work. I've spent 2 days working with Accuweather tech support, but they're out of ideas. They say it must be your browser. It worked until this latest update. I've prevented my laptop from accepting this latest update because it still works on the laptop,which is configured the same way as my desktop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve Toher

I'm getting the F7701-1003 error every time I try to play Netflix (works fine on other browsers). I tried every step of this guide this guide and triple checked it. I tried uninstalling, resetting profile, I that checked resistfingerprinting is turned on. I'm kind of at a lost. At this point I'm being forced to use other browsers...

I am unable to access an item in my bank account. It reads to check cookie settings. (Third party cookies, cookie tracking, cross site tracking". I do not know how to fix this. It had not happened before. I am using both Yahoo and Google. What do I need to do
